Gopher Damage in Lawn
Gopher Damage in Lawn

Gophers are one of the common species of wildlife that we are called upon to control in Denver. Gophers can be found living in at lawns and landscapes throughout Arvada, Aurora, Brighton, Broomfield and Boulder. Gophers also take up residence under porches and patios. Gophers create tunnels underground and “push up” the dirt that is excavated and deposit it on the surface of your lawn or landscape. Gophers commonly eat the roots of plants and shrubs.

Gopher control and removal should be initiated as soon as the animal has been discovered living in this area as Gophers will chew the roots from plants, trees and shrubs thus effectively killing them. Expensive landscaping can be ruined quickly by this very small animal. Colorado is home to the Botta’s Gopher, Northern Gopher, Plains Gopher and Yellow Faced Gopher. They are often called by their first name, the Pocket Gopher.

The mountain and plains communities of Bailey, Bennett, Berthoud, Campion, Castle Rock, Conifer, Evergreen, Morrison, Mountain View, Niwot, Sedalia, Watkins, and Welby support Gophers in good numbers. Gopher control and removal services are provided in all of these locations.

Cities such as Bow Mar, Centennial, Cherry Hills Village, Commerce City, Denver, Edgewater, Federal Heights, Foxfield, Franktown, Glendale, Golden, Greenwood Village, Gun Barrel, Highlands Ranch, Indian Hills, Lafayette, Lakewood, Littleton, Louisville, Northglenn, Parker, Sheridan, Sherrelwood, Superior, Thornton, Westminster and Wheat Ridge, CO all experience Gopher control and removal problems.

Gopher control and removal should only be attempted by people who understand the behavior of this animal. A All Animal Control is your local professional that can get rid of your Gopher.

To control pest Gopher, we often must begin Gopher trapping followed by Gopher relocation. Trapping Gophers is necessary in most cases. Gophers and can also be treated with rodenticide to control them.

Trapping a Gopher humanely is important to prevent as little stress as necessary to the Gopher. Getting rid of a Gopher is a process that should be carried out with proper planning and procedures. Gopher removal can be done in an efficient manner with the proper tools and training. If I had a Gopher in my yard, I would want a professional that could remove the Gopher quickly and humanely.

A dead Gopher in your wall or house is a service that we provide including the deodorization of the area. Gophers do occasionally die in unusual places and they must be removed as soon as possible. We have even found a dead Gopher in a basement. Leaving the Gopher will only make the problem worse and cause further damage to your home and attract other animals and insects. Animal control for Gopher is a necessary service to protect your home and family. Removing Gopher is the first step to making your home healthy again. Get rid of Gopher the right way before the problem gets out of control.

Gophers can be found in all of the following county or counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Jefferson and Park. A All Animal Control will provide Gopher and Chipmunk control and removal services in these counties.
